My day job is running a travel publishing company, but seven years ago I decided to do some moonlighting. Somerville’s War is the result – my first novel, published in March just after lockdown.  It’s a Second World War story that starts and ends on the Beaulieu River in the New Forest, Hampshire, seen in these 1940s photographs.
